Approximately 250 ping pong balls will be droppped form an airplane over the lot south of the outdoor arena area at 6:00p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2009 and Saturday, August 15, 2009. Friday's drop will be for ages 13 & up and Saturday's drop will be for ages 12 & under.
Balls will be redeemed for prizes right after the ball drop. Unclaimed prizes after the fair will be forfeited. Balls marked as special prizes will include, but are not limited to:
1 Red: $50
2 Purple: $20
2 Green: $10
4 Blue: $5
20 Yellow: $1
*** Businesses interested in donating prizes for the Ping Pong Ball Drop please contact SuzAnne Jorgensen at 690-9330 before Friday noon.
In Case of Inclement Weather the drop will be rescheduled

Join us Saturday Morning August 15 2009 for the garfield County Fair 5k Fun Run starting at 8:00a.m. Meet at the Fair Building no later than 7:45 a.m.

Miss Garfield County 2008 Crowned
**All 3 Contestants in the opening number**
3 girls competed this Saturday for the title of Miss Garfield County. Asia Smith was crowned Miss Garfield County 2008. Her attendants are Vanessa Shakespear and Jackie Talbot.

Also held on Saturday was the Miss Garfield Outstanding Teen Pagent. The winner was Kaelee Smith and her attendant is Cheyenne Syrett.

In the Pre-Teen Princess Competition the winner was Rebekah Holbrook with Nicole Bremner and Ashley Schow as attendants.
The 2008 Jr. Princess crowned was Kinlie VonCannon. Oaklee Pollock, Cheyanne Callies and Madison Syrett will reign as her attendants.
And finally in the Little Princess contest the winner was Brooklyn Syrett. Her attendants are Mya Eldredge and Abby Richards.
